               4z.com team continues working without day offs to restore the network damaged by fire.

 

               Update on services:

 

- Outgoing and incoming calls are fully operational.

 

 

 Update on network rebuild and new VoIP network:

 

- New inbound successful calls are achieved via new VoIP network.

- New tasks for setup of damaged network are planned and the work on this direction continues.

 

 

 List of affected services is the same as provided previously. We had high hopes, that www.switzernet.com website server will be restore but OVH faces problems with restore of datacenters.

- Due to smoke in SBG1, the project list will be rescheduled.

- SBG1 datacenter is currently closed and secured.

- SBG2 datacenter is closed and secured.

- SBG4 datacenter is closed and secured as a precautionary measure.

- The recovery scenario will be defined during the weekend for SBG1 and SBG4 datacenters, always focusing on security.

- SBG3 is partially restored.Teams continue to work on the SBG3 data center, as of today, respecting security measures.

               Our mission remains to provide our customers high quality services.

               Our team works in extra mode since the beginning of force majeure, to continue providing our customers uninterruped routing of outgoing

               and incoming calls.

 

 

               Update on network rebuild:

 

               - Setup of new servers and rebuid of network damaged by fire is ongoing.

 

 

               Update on new VoIP network:

 

               - We have considerable advance in tests of new VoIP network.

 

 

               Recommendations:

 

               - Please do not change VoIP password.

              - SBG-3: Situation : Servers undamaged.

              - Electrical restart : Restored power to datacentre.

              - New network power restored.

              - Redeployment of the local network this Wednesday 17th March (Cabling finalised).

              - Server restart : Test tomorrow on a rack and if conclusive a provisional estimate of Friday, 19 March for a gradual restart of servers

              - The SBG1, SBG3 and SBG4 datacentres will be connected to the network tonight.

              - The entire system is operational in the SBG1/SBG3/SBG4 datacentres.

 

 

               If operations scheduled by OVH are carried out without any problems, we might have possibility to restore the website, paypal and cards

               access to online interface, earlier, than the initial estimated deadline of March 22nd.

    While all necessary measures are taken to maintain currently working services running without any interruptions, our technical team works on reestablishment and setup of network elements which were destroyed by fire to restore all affected services.

               - Network restart : Redeployment of the local network today.

 

 

               Update on services:

 

               - Outgoing calls are functional for our existing customers.

               - Incoming call routing is fully restored.

 

 

               Update on new VoIP network:

 

               - Our team continues testing new VoIP network elements.

 

 

               Recommendations:

 

               - Please do not change the VoIP password, to not loose the connection.

 

 

               Services which remain affected:

 

               - www.switzernet.com website is down (including user interface).

               - It is temporarily impossible to make payments via paypal.

               Dear Customers,

 

               The reestablishment of incoming calls is ongoing. However, due to technical complexity it takes more time than expected. The traffic  of accounts with restored incoming calls is non-stop growing and represents 65% at this moment.

 

               We will keep you posted on this subject additionally via updates.

               - Unfortunately, we were informed, that more than 25% of our server's and their backups are destroyed by the fire.

               - Considerable part of our network needs to be rebuilt. However, we are taking all necessary measures to maintain currently working services running without any interruptions.

               We are currently working on the incoming calls reestablishment. All our latest tests were successful. 

               We expect 100% of incoming call routing to be up and running within 24 hours.

 

               Due to the fire in OVH datacenter most of our servers remain affected and are down.

               - Incoming calls are currently being restored

               - First tests of new VoIP network are done. Troubleshooting is running.

               - Outgoing calls are functional for our existing customers.

               - Reactivation of the electrical network at OVH is tentatively planned for Monday, 15 March.

               - A network room will be set up by the end of this week, in order to be operational at the beginning of the week of 15 March.

               - Tests for the high voltage power supply will be carried out this weekend. Provisional estimate for the reestablishment of power:

               - A progressive restart of all services is estimated beginning Monday, 22 March

               Dear Customers,

 

               Since 2021-03-10 04:00, we are experiencing a major issue with our provider OVH and its datacenters in Strasbourg, where majority of

               located.

               A fire is declared in the building SBG2 of OVH datacenter in Strasbourg. The fire in SBG2 could not be controlled and the whole site

               which impacts all services on SBG1, SBG2, SBG3 and SBG4.
